Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)

 

Talk On, LLC is looking for a motivated, energetic OTR/L to join our growing team. Come join a therapist owned and operated company that cares about our clients AND our therapists.

Talk On is a pediatric therapy practice located in Kent, Ohio. We use a developmental and relationship based approach to support our clients and families.

Settings: Services will be delivered in a private practice setting (Kent, Ohio)

Hours- Position has flexible hours with need for some after school availability for in clinic sessions/evaluations.

​

Speciality: The ideal candidate would have an interest or speciality in the sensory system along with knowledge of the other areas in the OT framework pertaining to pediatrics.

​

Current Benefits: Professional development assistance

​

Duties:

-Complete occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments and establish plans of care

-Provide occupational therapy

-Ethically and effectively supervise OTA

-Complete timely, accurate documentation including evaluation reports, daily notes, plans of care, progress reports.

-Monitor and report progress and update POCs as necessary.

-Consult with other therapy staff as needed

-Provide caregiver training to facilitate generalization of skills

-Other duties as needed

Requirements:

-Graduate degree from AOTA accredited program

-Current Ohio license

-Current Ohio pupil services license

-Membership to AOTA

-Ability to pass FBI and BCI background check

-Professional liability insurance

-Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals through American Heart Association

-Must be able to meet physical demands of working with the pediatric population, including but not limited to the ability to stand for long periods of time, sit, bend over, squat, lift 50 pounds.
